Works like a charm! Sorry for the delayed response, but I've been working on some other scripts. I of course tested it first with the 2 fonts that didn't play nice together in the same text box. I chose the word "Testing" Myriad-Pro Regular, and Minion-Pro Regular. It seems to be the text box itself is corrupt as I had experienced with the first test.Weird part is, I was able to get it to work after reformatting it, and even used the same fonts.

Is there a way to spit out all attributes of a given object other than just alert()? That way I could compare and  figure out where the problem is. Either way this brings me much closer to my goal, so I appreciate all the help!!! This will work 99% of the time, but as all programmers do, I'd like to prevent that 1% error.
